Comeau	FLA	This week you will have time to finish up the final draft of your story and present your story aloud to me.  You will need to submit 2 things to D2L:   1. The typed, good draft of your story 2. An imovie that shows your illustrations and you reading your story aloud.   *There are 2 other options for the presentation part...you can use PowerPoint to upload your images and insert your audio recording.  OR you can join me in a google meet to present your book.  If you want to do a google meet, please email me and I will reply with the date, time and code *Don't forget about the supplementary activities resource page in D2L under 'content' for anyone who is looking for something more to do! Google meet will be on Monday at 1:30.  Code to be posted on D2L prior to the meeting.  We will go over the week's expectations and answer any questions.  With any time remaining we can play a game of kahoot to practice the past tense!	2 hours	D2L
McMorran	ELA	Due June 2: choose your final project novel read/listen to the first half of your novel Google meet will be Friday at 10:00. We will be discussing the pressing issues and values of youth today and deciding if other things we read this year are relevant.	<2hrs	D2L and Google Meet
McMorran	SS	Due June 1: Chinese Railway workers experience assignment Google meet will be Tuesday at 1:00. We will be analyzing an ad for immigrants to move to western Canada in direct regards to the new assignment.	2 hrs	D2L and Google Meet
Soufi	Math	We have started a new unit in Math Chapter 4 "le cercle et l'aire". Make sure to access D2L and read lessons 4.1 and 4.2. Homework/ practice questions 1-6 pages 131-132.As well as practice question 1 -7 pages 136 -137.  As this is a very short unit we will have reached the mi-unit point after these lessons. The mi-unit Quiz will be posted early next week (June 1). It is expected that you review and study the concepts in lesson 4.1 & 4.2 in preparations for the upcoming quiz.  Google meet is at our regular date/time this coming week.
